I’m more than a little late with this one, but forgive me. Today has been a long day :)Â I’ve had this dress in my closet for a while, waiting for the right time to wear it. A crisp, but not too cool, fall day this past weekend gave me the perfect excuse.
I went for a full on vintage look with lace and (faux) leather — which I LOVE together — and a blown out fro. I felt like people were staring at my hair, but like naturalistas like to say: “Big hair don’t care.” 🙂
I got my photo shoot on with my daughter and hubby at the park, feeling girly and glam in this outfit.
I almost never wear tights or stockings of any kind, but I’m glad I did in this case. I was surprised by how warm my legs were.
I’ve really been digging dresses and skirts lately, which is sort of unfortunate since it will soon be too cold to cover my legs only with tights. But living in Georgia, I should have at least a few more weeks during which I can get away with skirts, and I’ll probably push the limits (and my ability to withstand the cold) so I can wear what I want, when I want. I’m dressing for the day I want to have, remember?
