Organic + Fly: Broccoli City Sent My New Favorite T-Shirt

I’m a recovering shopaholic who used to have a penchant for all things Baby Phat. Suffice it to say I’m pretty fond of tasteful urban fashion. The problem is that the world of “urban” and “eco-friendly” rarely intersect. There is, of course, that one episode of “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane” in which the ostentatious queen of excess learned a little about green living, but I digress.

When I stumbled upon the website of new t-shirt brand Broccoli City, I knew I wanted one of their “Organic + Fly” tees. Because I’m…well…both. At least I tell myself that when I wake up in the morning 🙂

About two weeks ago, I tweeted about my admiration for their tees, and soon thereafter received a DM offering to send me a shirt. Needless to say, I was ecstatic! And when I actually received the shirt a few days later? I loved it!  The shirt is made of high-quality organic cotton with good weight, so it’s not a cheap shirt with too much stretch.

I received the blue Organic + Fly tee, as you can see in the to photo (but I’m also quite fond of the “It’s All Good/God” and “I Love BC” and “Who Loves Me More Than Me” tees. Men’s tees are also available, and I see a hot, organic birthday present in my husband’s future 🙂 Check out Broccoli City. Thanks to them, I have a new favorite t-shirt!

Why It’s Green:

Hi! I'm Jennae Petersen and I'm the eco diva who had the bright idea to share my journey toward green living with the blogosphere. Some of you may know me as the founder of Green Your Decor, my blog about eco-friendly home decor, as a Walmart Mom, from Twitter or from my organic cotton t-shirt line Differently Clothing. Stick around for a while!

  1. @Stancie Why, thank you, dahling! Compliments will get you everywhere 🙂 I can’t say enough how much I love this tee. It has just the right amount of stretch and a great fit, even around all my…ahem…”extra” curves…lol. My husband is pretty excited about them too. He’s not very fond of most of the eco-fashion I find for men.
