I have a serious weakness for jewelry — even moreso when said jewelry is made sustainably. I’m currently going through a big earring phase, so I was elated to find out that Pure Citizen is featuring thinknow jewelry this week.

I’m genuinely going to have a hard time deciding which ones I want the most!

Looking for Some Green Glam? Try a Felt Necklace or Brooch

Although I like to think of myself as being reasonably well-dressed, I’ve never been much of a fashionista. It’s jeans and t-shirts for me most days. Lately, though, as I learn to love my hair in all it’s naturally curly glory, I’ve been trying to be more put together. What I’ve found is that my clothes are only part of the full picture. Once I add a flower in my hair or a pair of stunning earrings, I really feel like I’m “dressed up.” And oh, what wonders a few of these felt brooches and necklaces would do for my accessory collection!

Designed by Peruvian artisan Vacide Erda Zimic, they are beyond gorgeous! The brooches and necklaces are made from recycled and reclaimed 100% wool felt, which is used to make traditional Peruvian Andean hats. Each circle or triangle is hand cut before being layered together to create the finished pieces.

I regularly use brooches in my hair, and these would be no exception. And these necklaces could literally turn a simple black dress or even a plain white tee and jeans into a stunning outfit.
