Last week, I found this sweatshirt on clearance at Target. To say that I loved it right away would be an understatement! The graphic, urban print is unlike anything else in my closet, and I had to have it. I got lucky in that the only option was an XXL, just big enough to fit my growing belly.

I’ve always hesitated with sweatshirts, because the hems tend to hit me on the widest part of my hips. I never really appreciated that, but I immediately envisioned this one with these cargo pants that I found at a baby/maternity consignment store, and my studded combat boots. The silhouette definitely skews casual and tomboyish, but I really like it! I may have to try this more often 🙂

All in all, I was comfortable, and — I think — cute. Also, though I didn’t really intend this, the graphic nature of the top made it hard to tell I’m 7 months pregnant, even if you saw me from the side. Eventually, my belly is going to look like I’m smuggling a beach ball and there’ll be no hiding it, but for now, I still have to cognizant of what I wear if I want my baby bump to be obvious 🙂

What do you think? Do you ever go for the tomboy look? Would you ever wear combat boots — much less studded ones?
