Deep Sweeping My Teeth with Oral B

I’ve always wondered if there was any real reason to use an electric toothbrush. Manual toothbrushes work just as well, right? Well, they do work, but after using the Oral B Healthy Clean electric toothbrush with Oral B Deep Sweep brush heads from Walmart, I’d be hard pressed to say they’re equal in the performance department. I’ve had my fair share of dental problems in my adult life, and as a result am very particular about my teeth. I like to think of myself as a thorough brusher. However, nothing I have ever done with my own hands could compare to the results I got with the Deep Sweep.

The head of the brush rotates so it cleans the whole surface of the teeth, but it also vibrates. The sensation feels similar to the tools your dentist might use to clean your teeth, but it’s a whole lot more gentle and soothing when you’re doing it yourself, in your own bathroom instead of trembling in the dentist’s chair.

The results are pretty awesome, too. My teeth felt cleaner and smoother than they ever do when I use my manual brush. This makes sense, as the bristles are specifically designed to polish tooth surfaces. Unlike the round brush head that comes with the Healthy Clean electric brush right out of the box, the Deep Sweep heads are tapered, so it’s easier to get into any nooks and crannies in my teeth. Also, the top three rows of bristles move independently from the rest, so you can really target any problem areas. Seriously, best brush I’ve ever used.

If you’d like to try the Deep Sweep, it is available at Walmart and on Walmart.com with a $15 mail-in rebate. (aff)
