This time of year is ridiculously busy for my family, so I’ve been hard pressed to squeeze in time for much. Still, I’ve been dying to wear these floral pants, and I knew they warranted an outfit of the day post. It was a VERY bright, sunshiny day today, so forgive me if the images are a little blown out. We’re still working on the whole white balance thing 🙂

I got these floral beauties at Target over the summer, but never had a chance to wear them. I knew that somehow, I had to transition what could be seen as a very summery print into the fall/winter season.

Goodwill saves the day, once again! I found this black velvet blazer (BTW, what is it with me and velvet blazers?) there last week when I made a quick stop while waiting for my daughter to get out of gymnastics class. It was one of only two things that I bought, and I couldn’t be happier with it!

I feels like something appropriate for the holidays, especially paired with a sequined tank. However, the causal floral print on the pants and my wedge sneakers make the look more appropriate for daytime and comfortable enough to accommodate endless appointments and errands.

Between my hair, these awesome jeans and the blazer, I felt like the best, most confident version of myself — which is, in my opinion, the way every outfit should make you feel.

Don’t you agree?
