I’ve really been crushing on cobalt blue lately. There’s just something about that color that makes me happy and confident. Along with Dear Abby Leigh, I’m learning to dress for the day I want to have, and I wanted a happy, confident day (who doesn’t, right). Plus, it works really well in an outfit when color blocking.

I actually found the green pants first during a sale on colored jeans at Old Navy. Next, I found the purse at my favorite consignment store. But this is no ordinary purse. It’s an awesome, feminine camera bag from Epiphanie Bags that I’d been wanting literally for years.

It has compartments to carefully cradle my Nikon (a.k.a. My Baby), and its big enough to contain my iPad and the other things every woman needs in her purse. Plus, I got it for a steal. And it was on sale. And on top of all that, its the exact color I wanted. It is my favorite consignment store for a reason

I thought cobalt would be a great counterpoint to the green, and threw in other shades of blue in my accessories.
