This week, I genuinely feel like a million bucks. In spite of the fact that I have failed to exercise as much as I should, it looks like sticking strictly within my daily calorie limits is paying off, because I’ve reached a milestone. As of today, I have a lost more than 30 lbs! I know I usually don’t share how much I’ve lost until later in my update, but I’m too excited about this one to hold it in.
I’m not going to lie though. I hasn’t been easy. Now that school is back in session and as a family we have so much to do, there are a lot of nights when we eat takeout. And there are a lot of mornings when I don’t feel like drinking a shake. The peanut butter chocolate chip bars are still my favorites though 🙂
However, I’ve been trucking along, pushing myself to eat when I don’t feel like it, and keeping my calories within my set limits, and reminding myself of where I want to be at the end of all this. Because that’s the point right? To wind up in a better place than where I began?
So far, I’d say I’m doing a pretty good job of that. So I’m going to pat myself on the back for a bit, then get back on the horse, better and stronger than before. And work out. A lot. Because I’ve still got some problem areas to work on and quite a bit more weight to lose.
