As good as the deals are, I'd much rather spend the day enjoying leftovers and Christmas-themed movies and marathons on TV with the hubby and kids :) @Carla I'm challenging myself to really take a walk in downtown Athens, not just passing through, and shop for gifts there. I won't be buying much, but I know it will mean a lot to the store owners :) And downtown Athens really does have an eclectic mix of locally owned shops, so I shouldn't have trouble finding some treasures. @Kristen Speaking as a person who has done both, I definitely prefer relaxation!
