Carol's Daughter Magical Beauty Collection

A few months ago while watching “UP” at the movies with my hubby and daughter, we first saw the preview for Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog.” We were ecstatic to see that, finally, Disney had created a black princess — a princess who looked like my little girl. Not that we don’t love Aurora, Ariel and Cinderella. It’s just that Princess Tiana is a character my daughter can better relate to.

So imagine my delight when I learned that one of my favorite makers of high-quality, natural personal care products, Carol’s Daughter, has partnered with Disney to create the Magical Beauty Collection based on The Princess and the Frog! The collection was released today, and I’m headed over there to pick up some of the products right now.

Carol's Daughter Magical Beauty Collection

My family has been using Carol’s Daughter products for months, and though they are a bit pricey, they are absolutely worth the money. Particularly for hair care, I can’t trust every product to work effectively on my daughter’s thick natural hair. But I can trust Carol’s Daughter to be paraben free, made with high-quality, natural ingredients and to actually work. And it could only serve to make my daughter happy that there’s a beautiful princess on the bottle :)

Price: $8-10 for individual products; $24-62 for sets

I was excited to see the announcement on Dr. Jays. I’m hoping to see a leave in conditioner in the future. I’m going to pick up the detangler to see how that works on Boogie’s hair as a moisturizer. His lil poof loves oil.
